The aim of this work is to design and implement regulator of wind turbine's own oscillations. Work begins describing the principles of the physical basis of the work of wind turbine. Further is described the mathematical model of wind turbine and performed linear mathematical wind turbine model. Tower oscillations are reduced with two different methods. The first method is based on the use of additional feedback, i.e. the velocity of wind turbine tower (P-regulator), and the other way was performed using the state variable controller. In order to design regulators for attenuating oscillations of the wind turbine we used the software package MATLAB 7.5.0. (R2007b). By analysing the performance of the regulators, it is showed that the State variable controller achieves higher attenuation of the oscillations than the basic P-regulator.
