In this thesis, state space control structure is presented. Estimator of parameters and state variables is created in order to develop wind turbine control system. Also, process of transformation of wind energy into mechanical energy is described as a basis for development of estimation algorithm. Furthermore, procedure of wind speed estimation is described. Estimator of parameters and state variables is based on Kalmann filter and it is developed by LabVIEW programming tool. Computer verification and laboratory testing of dual estimation process are carried out in the Laboratory for renewable energy sources of the Faculty of the electrical engineering and computing.
