In this paper first step was to linearize nonlinear model of wind turbine in order to design a basic PI rotor speed controller. Then, the torque controller was designed which purpose is to improve the pitch control system. Then we have derived nonlinear wind turbine loads model which was used to design a regulator for structural loads reduction. First, we have designed regulator to reduce structural loads during wind gusts, then we have designed regulator to reduce harmonic structural loads. The use of thrust force estimation instead of measurement is also proposed. Designed control system is tested in simulations.
